Attitudes

God doesn't judge the labor. He judges the attitude {of the heart} of the one laboring.
Do you realize that?
Our worth is NOT in what we do, but in which attitude we do it with.

So today when you are...

wiping little noses
mopping dirty floors
opening a door for the elderly
filing papers
cleaning out closets
filling out patient charts
correcting papers
getting coffee for your boss
picking up toys
baking a bazillion cookies
serving your husband
scooping snow
running errands
paying bills...

Whatever it may be,
Do it ALL for the Glory of the Lord!

You are so right, and I have to remind myself of that daily.
Day 2 of my getting up at 4:55. And we have had another great day! I even have a few moments online right now......

About Insanity. YES! I am dripping with sweat, cannot catch my breath, and I am sore! It is so different than running. I attempted Insanity back in April of last year, but I was only doing it 3 or 4 days a week, and I was also running. I would some days do two workouts a day, or run 2-3 miles and then do an Insanity workout. My knees did hurt! In fact, after about 8 weeks of doing both, I quit Insanity. It was time for me to up my mileage in preparation for my marathon, so I dropped the Insanity, and my knees got better.

This time, I started about 2 weeks after the marathon. Maybe one week, I don't remember!. I am doing Insanity just like it tells you to this time. 6 workouts a week with Sundays off. It is very difficult, but my knees are not injured this time. I have not run since the marathon. I am not running until I finish the 63 day program of Insanity. I finished day 37 this morning. I am in Level 2 now, and it is even harder!!!

I have toned up a lot. All of that jumping has made my thighs more muscular, and all of the push-ups have toned my arms. When Shuan T. gives the 30 second water break, it is at least 20 seconds before I stop breathing hard enough to take a drink of water, and then I can just take a sip. I am dripping and slinging sweat! I lie down on the floor at the end of each circuit, and the people on the video are rolling around in the floor in agony too.

So, it is very different than running, but is more intense in my opinion. I rarely push myself while running......I just run and run and run and talk and talk and talk to get the miles in.

Sorry for the long response!!!

Have a great day, and hug your sweet baby for me!
