It's Real Life

...an ordinary Day...
Jessica at Farm Fresh is hosting another It's Real Life.
Click on the link to see how others spend their day.

Life on Locust Lane...
My day starts early, this morning the clock in the kitchen said 5:24 AM.
Stillness, peace, and silence greet me.
Laundry, a smoothie and dishes were the first thing I tackled.
Then off to read my devotions
and do a little blogging.
Next I grabbed a handful of nuts, and headed to the basement to work out.
A shower, little make-up, bed fixin' and morning smiles followed.
Then to the kitchen to squeeze limes for my water, make breakfast and start some tea.
School was next. Followed by an appointment at the chiropractor and trip to the Amish store. We ate a late lunch of pasta and meat sauce, and then it was back to our school work. While the boys finished school I whipped up wet burritos for dinner and my little cowgirl wooed me with her square dancin' :) I cleaned up the kitchen, put the cowgirl down for a nap, then vacuumed & mopped.
After cleaning & inside chores, we did our afternoon outside chores, & had some play time outside. I needed a pick me up so, I dove into the nuts jar again, then worked on the computer, cleaned up the boys, sorted the mail & we all sat down to eat dinner.
After dinner we had family fun time, bedtime snacks and packed dad's lunch for tomorrow.
Then it was lights out!
Whooh, what a day!
My days are full, busy and crazy at times, but it is all good.
This pillow looks inviting!
Good night!

Real Life, How I Roll

Jessica at Farm Fresh is hosting...

So this is how we went to town today. Sweet ole Rusty doesn't go very fast, 5 miles per hour top speed, but we made it!

*Just kidding*
This is what we really took. However, someone did drive that buggy because it was sitting at the store when we arrived.
And this is what we were packing...
Feed for the chickens.
And our trusty first aid kit which has been a kid ouch-y saver on many of our adventurous outings.
We also keep old quilts, my Ergo and the stroller in the back.
The boys have pouches to keep their goods in
My reusable grocery bags stay in the front so I don't forget to take them in the store. However 66% of the time I still manage to forget!
In the center console there are a few CD's from Family Life, Dr Dobson, Odyssey, shout wipes, sunscreen, a DVD, cell phone charger and spare change.
I am not a big fan of clutter so the Yukon stays pretty clean. We clean up after our selves each time we get out. Cleaning the car is also one of our weekly chores :)
Thanks Jessica for hosting this again!
